Hi
I have some fact to share with your....
Alternative To Typical Synthetic Supplements Is Needed, Say Experts
Entire food supplements is currently a subject of worldwide interest. A profusion of proof has recently come to light suggesting that normal synthetic multivitamin supplements may be hazardous to your wellbeing. Goran Bjelakovic, a reputed scientist from the School of Copenhagen, headed up a massive meta-study that looked at the results of 67 placebo-controlled trials previously carried out to determine the effects of vitamin and anti-oxidant supplements on durability. In the end, the study mixed observations of 232 000 test topics. By using such a huge population sample, a report can become much more powerful in relation to spotting large-scale trends and overcoming human bias.
The results of the analysis, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association, were nothing significantly less than shocking. Taking a look at patients with diabetes, cardiovascular disease and lung cancers, as well as healthy, normal individuals, there is no apparent benefit to taking popular fractionated supplements like Supplement A, Vitamin E, Vitamin C, Selenium, or beta-Carotene. Actually, the results went in the contrary direction - there was a greater chance of death (16 percent) among Supplement A users, a 7 percent higher death rate amongst beta-Carotene users, and a 4 percent mortality upsurge in Vitamin E users. Beta-Carotene and Retinol, promoted as anti-carcinogenic agents, may promote lung tumor. That's right - pills marketed as assisting you towards a longer, healthier life are actually correlated with a speedier demise. This research used typical supplements on the market made from synthetic vitamin supplements.
To add insult to injury, a recent study published in the British Journal of Diet under the unimaginative title of "Ascorbic Acid Supplementation Does Not Attenuate Post-Exercise Muscle Soreness Following Muscle-Damaging Exercise But May Delay The HEALING PROCESS" indicated that supplementation with anti-oxidants from synthetic sources may reverse many of the beneficial ramifications of physical training.
Now, this is not to say that anti-oxidants or vitamins are harmful to you. Definately not it - these supplements were created based on solid science. Anti-oxidants are still believed to protect cells from the ravages of free radicals. The nagging problem, rather, is the idea that you can get those advantages from synthetic isolated substances. Disease and growing older are usually far more complicated than test-tube studies can account for. Furthermore, the issue of bioavailability can be an ever-present concern. Many typical synthetic supplements include large sums of the advertised vitamin, but lack the additional compounds needed to ensure that their key substances are actually ingested by the body. Passing through the digestive tract direct, these 'miracle health treatments' often wind up doing little beyond offering people expensive urine. To the rescue...Whole Food Supplements.
